We planted a garden yesterday!
My very first one.
After all the planning,
It took surprisingly little time to plant,
and now we just have to sit, and wait, and water.

We have tomatoes,
snow peas,
hot peppers,
spinach,
shallot onions,
cantaloupe,
basil,
parsley,
and mint.

Hopefully, out of all of that, something edible will grow.
I'm excited to watch it.

Who am I?
I don't know who I am, but I do know who I am right now.
And who, right now, I want to be in the future.

I'm a shy, quiet girl, but if you talk to me I'll try and talk back.
Some people think I'm pretty, and some days I agree with them.

I'm a librarian, and a film person, who happens to be dating a very sweet musician.
That is, I want to be a librarian and a film person.

I don't want to do big films.
I don't want to be a movie star.
I want to do small, independent films, student films,
with close knit groups of people who welcome me into their circle.
I want to work with people who help me
and people who want me there.
Maybe I'll take a screen arts program after my library program.

So is that it? I'm a shy, quiet, sometimes pretty, librarian film person who watches bad horror movies and classics, and happens to be dating someone?

I think so -- for now.
